FarmNexus ("we," "us," or "our") provides a cloud-based farm operations platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use FarmNexus.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: name, email address, organization/workspace details, and authentication identifiers.

Farm Operations Data: records you create in modules such as Diesel Log, Dairy Log, Sheep Log, Cattle Log, Farm Budget, Field Log, and Nexus Notes.

Device and App Data: technical diagnostics, app version, and limited device metadata required for security and reliability.

Media and Sensor Data (when used): camera images for features like slip scanning or counting workflows, and precise GPS location for map/field plotting and tractor GPS tracking.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

- Provide and maintain the FarmNexus service and its modules.

- Sync and store your workspace data securely in the cloud.

- Process subscriptions, module access, and account support requests.

- Improve app performance, reliability, and security.

4. Permissions and Feature Access

Camera: used only when you choose camera-enabled features (for example, scanning slips or flock counting).

Location: used when plotting field boundaries and for tractor GPS tracking in Field Log. When you start a tracking session, FarmNexus collects location data to record the tractor path even when the app is closed or not in use (for example, if the cab phone is locked). A persistent tracking notification stays on while recording. Location from tracking is stored in your farm's FarmNexus workspace so your team can follow a live track and review hectares worked. We do not sell location data and we do not use it for advertising.

You can control these permissions in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit specific features. Stop tracking at any time to end background location collection.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers strictly to operate FarmNexus (such as cloud hosting, authentication, storage, and payment infrastructure), subject to confidentiality and security obligations.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as your workspace remains active and as required for legal, billing, or operational purposes. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

8. Children's Privacy

FarmNexus is intended for business/farm operations use and is not directed to children.
